Beyond emergency management, Sandy has made significant strides in marketing and graphic design, founding a consultancy in Vermont and achieving acclaim as a Hollywood graphic artist, including an Emmy win. His academic contributions as an adjunct professor at Castleton University have also shaped future creatives in advertising art and graphic design.

Since her move to Vermont in 1994, Joan has impressively pivoted from a laboratory technician role into diverse professional spheres, culminating in a distinguished career in financial and human resources management. Earning her Associate's Degree in Accounting in 2002, she navigated through bookkeeping and evolved into a pivotal role as a payroll specialist manager, eventually rising to human resources manager with a focus on compliance, HIPAA, workers' compensation, and critical financial operations. Joan's journey is a testament to her adaptability and mastery in managing complex administrative functions and compliance standards.
